Hannibal Buress Is Performing The Last Ever Show At Cole Field House Tonight Before It Closes For Good

So are they finally knocking down Cole and building that huge football/athletics facility? I swear they’ve been using the hashtag #CloseOutCole for the last 3 years. I didn’t even realize they were still having events there until Hannibal tweeted last night that he’s the last event ever at Cole Field House. I looked it up and yea, they are finally starting renovations at long last in December. Kinda bittersweet. Cole is an iconic arena, but has no use unless you’re an intramural indoor soccer player or have discussion in one of those dingy classrooms. I always felt like they should play one of those shitty out of conference, early season basketball games in Cole every year just so students know how awesome (and ridiculously hot) Cole could get. But if this is, in fact, the last event ever at Cole, it means we’re one step closer to this:

I’ve said all along Maryland is a head coach away from being a legitimate program. They got rid of Edsall, now it’s just time to find the right guy to take all this money they are pumping into the football program and make Maryland great again.
